What the scan covers
In Neko’s words. It measures the skin, heart, blood and body composition; it does not take MRI pictures.
Neko Health Scan
£299
“Pricing includes the full scan, lab analysis, and a debrief with one of our clinicians.”
- What it checks
- “Data captured across your skin, heart, blood, and metabolic health.”
- “Body composition including visceral and body fat”
- Blood
- “Blood is processed in our on-site lab”
- The markers Neko lists: Basophils, Total Cholesterol, Eosinophils, Glucose, Haemoglobin, HbA1c, HDL cholesterol, High sensitive-CRP, Lymphocytes, Neutrophils, Non-HDL cholesterol, Triglycerides, White blood cells.
- Radiation
- “No X-rays, no CT scan. Our devices capture data without radiation exposure.”
- How long
- “A complete Neko Health Scan takes about an hour from check-in to debrief with a doctor.”
- Who explains the results
- “Every finding is interpreted and explained by a Neko clinician.”
- “Our specialist clinicians, dermatologists, and cardiologists review your results to check for any signals that deserve deeper analysis.”
- Is it an MRI
- “No, and that’s a deliberate choice. MRI is a powerful tool, but it’s most valuable when directed at a specific clinical concern rather than being used in a preventive setting. An MRI for just a single organ can take as long as an hour. The Neko Health Scan is designed to look at major health systems in the same amount of time.”

If it finds something
- What Neko says it does
- “Your doctor reviews your results and prepares a personalised action plan. This will be sent to you the same day as your appointment and you can view it by logging in to your account.”
- “If we find something during your scan that requires further investigation by an external provider, we’ll provide you with a referral letter to make the process as smooth as possible.”
- Follow ups at Neko
- A 12 lead ECG, a skin dermoscopy, an echocardiogram or a Doppler investigation, at Neko’s clinics.
- “Demand for follow-up appointments is currently higher than usual.”
- Who pays for onward care
- Follow ups at Neko: “follow-up appointments at our clinics are included in your scan.”
- Elsewhere: “If you’re referred to an external provider, any costs there will depend on your own healthcare setup.”
- Your GP
- “Your results are available to share with your GP from the Neko app”
